Description

Jawbreaker is a local multiplayer physics-based brawler, pitting 2 - 4 players against each other in PvP combat. Your head is your lifeline - as long as it stays out of the acid, you're still in the game!

As Lead Designer
I Maintained the game's vision and feel. I designed and refined core gameplay mechanics, focusing on the unique physics-based combat and body-swapping system. Prototyping movement, conceptualising attack interactions, and traversal mechanics to create dynamic and engaging brawler gameplay. Worked closely with programmers to ensure tight, responsive controls and fun, emergent physics interactions.

As Level Designer
Created the game arena complement the chaotic gameplay, balancing space, hazards, and traversal options. Designed and implemented dynamic stage elements like destructible platforms, moving cogwheel and acid hazards to keep rounds intense and strategic.

As Asset Implementation
Integrated art and sound assets into the game, ensuring a seamless visual and auditory experience. Worked with artists to bring characters and environments to life while maintaining gameplay clarity.

As Minor Programmer
Contributed to small-scale coding tasks, assisting in refining mechanics and fixing gameplay bugs. Helped prototype interactions and test new features for smooth integration.

As Associate Producer
Assisted Producer in project coordination, milestone planning, and team communication. Helped maintain development efficiency by tracking tasks and ensuring smooth collaboration between designers, artists, and programmers.
